This Kingdom verse is about forgiveness.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors… For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matt 6:12,14-15 NIV)
- The King declares that entrance into His Kingdom is conditional upon forgiveness.
- If we cannot forgive from the heart, we will not be forgiven by our Heavenly Father.
- His decree is absolutely fair: As we forgive others – He forgives us. We decide!
- The only way that God can forgive our sins, is through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Please relieve me from the burden of being unforgiving. Help me to forgive from my heart, even as I wish to be forgiven through Your Son. In His Name. Amen.
